As a parent, I understand completely the anxieties that parents have regarding their child’s education. I am always mindful that our children are not simply anonymous products to be pushed through a system.  My aim is for children to understand the relevance of their education not simply within the context of the classroom and examination results, but to understand its place within their lives and its relevance to the world around them.  Teaching is a great responsibility and also a great privilege, a good education is creatively delivered and encourages enquiring minds – children who are unafraid to wonder and ask searching questions.  My wish is for teachers and parents to work and learn together to enable children to develop an intrinsic motivation to learn and refine the skills to fulfil their potential.
